Had a nice conversation with the owner after a nice full feeling breakfast.

Swede’s handled my dad’s luncheon post funeral, they took care of everything, including centerpieces for tables. Highly recommend for any event!

If you like good old fashioned home cooking, meatloaf, cod dinners, hot roast beef sandwiches and the best pancakes for a more than fair price this is your place.Sure the place is run down and the door doesn’t shut all the way. Service is always excellent, homemade mashed potatoes and bread. You’ll feel welcome when you walk in. Give it a try been coming here for years.

I was waiting for my vehicle to be serviced, so I walked over to this restaurant. Many times, people will avoid an establishment when the exterior of the business doesn 't look very inviting. I 've found that most of the time, places that are termed hole in the wall restaurants often have some of the best food. The service was phenomenal and the waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Even people working in the back greeted you and inquired about how you were doing. This is a mom and pop type of restaurant and the food is made to order. Freshly baked bread was on the countertop, and I saw fresh produce being taken out of the refrigerator. The food was very good and had a home cooked taste to it. Very happy that I tried this restaurant. It 's not fancy and the interior looks like something out of the 1960s or '70s but I personally enjoy that Hometown feel and love hearing customers speaking to the Cook and the workers as if their family members.
