The Sahib Room Kipling - Mumbai

Visited The Sahib Room last weekend to celebrate my Dad's Birthday and I must say, The Sahib Room made sure he had a wonderful time.<br/ <br/ Being a marriott the hospitality cannot be questioned, they always take it a notch higher with every visit. We would like to Thank the Manager Mr Sydney for the same, who made sure we had a wonderful experience.<br/ <br/ Also would like to Thank Mr Rishabh for his service, he made sure all our needs were taken care of.<br/ <br/ Coming to the food, we ordered,<br/ <br/ Kandhari Paneer Tikka: The marination was super yum with beetroot extract which was the 1st time we had someone using beet in the marination.<br/ <br/ Subz Sheekh Kebab: Finely minced french beans, peas and gratinated with cheese was very nice.<br/ <br/ Broccoli Dal Bangla: Broccoli marrianated in mustard and cream cheese was extremely delicious and was specially made for my sister keeping her dietary restrictions in mind and they din't even charge us for the same.<br/ <br/ Mausam Ki Sabzi: As the name suggests seasonal mixed vegetables cooked chef's style in onion tomato gravy. <br/ <br/ Sahib Ki Dal E Khaas: The famous black dal which is cooked over 24 hours with tomatoes and fenugreek was extremely delicious but was low on salt. <br/ <br/ The Aloo Kulcha was also very nicely made.<br/ <br/ Would also like to Thank the chefs Mr Ali Mr Qureshi for the wonderful preparations.<br/ <br/ We loved the food and the hospitality was superlative, surely visiting again soon.<br/ <br/ This restaurant is a zomato gold restaurant and one can use 1 1 on Food.

The place is beautifully managed with very courteous staff who helped us with the order. The galouti kebabs were really good so was the biryani. If only the naan could have been better. Little extra on the pocket but zomato gold really helps here. :

The place completely lives up to its expectations for what it is known, and that is it's North Indian food. The food here is absolute class and will not disappoint you. Being an Indian myself, I thoroughly enjoyed the north Indian food and also it was finger licking good. We had ordered two sabzees of Paneer, A dal and various Indian breads which were all well cooked and decent. Also, the staff here is very polite and cordial which we appreciate. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but again, it's a 5 star hotel and we have to live with the fact.Ambience: Food: Value for money: Service:
