Cap 'n Ron 's Fish 'n ' Chips

This food truck delivers great food. My wife and I got the three piece white fish dinner with fries and coleslaw. It was wonderfully deep fried where the fish did not taste greasy at all and still retained all of the goodness that Michigan’s whitefish is known for. This is of course a small business and supporting a small business is always an important thing to do. Go and find this truck and have a good meal.

A 6th generation family-run business that knows its fish! They serve up delicious whitefish and lake trout, all smoked to perfection in their giant outdoor smokers. The smell alone will draw you in. One of the highlights of visiting is the super chill golden retriever that lounges outside, happily watching people come and go—such a friendly and relaxed vibe! Inside, you’ll be warmly greeted by the owner and her mother, who are both incredibly friendly and make the experience even more enjoyable. It’s no wonder this place is so popular—even Gordon Ramsey has visited! With reasonable prices and top-notch quality, I highly recommend stopping by Cap’n Ron’s for some truly fantastic fish ‘n’ chips. You won’t be disappointed!

I was told this is the best fish around... it is good however the guy in the truck cooking it was pretty rude and I won't be going back or recommending them due to his attitude.. get someone else to wait on customers.. someone who is actually nice to people

Absolutely blown away by this place! Did a turn around quickly to try this out at 7:30pm! Up here for vacation and visiting some places in Marquette from Curtis area after coming from close to the Ohio border for the bridge walk this hit the spot! I love the coleslaw, just my type! The fish is to die for and the crisp crunchy fries are hot and delicious! Baskets almost empty in 5 mins or less :

Everything was on point. The fish wasn’t as seasoned as I’d hoped, but everything was delicious! And they weren’t stingy with the fries or the fish! We literally had enough the next day. Kid-friendliness: The kids (not mine) love the food there!
