Whitleys B Que Traditions

So glad to have found this great locals place. A bunch of us had just finished a round of golf at Beechwood Country Club and asked around about a great place for BBQ. This place was mentioned first, and it did not disappoint. I ordered a Carolina style BBQ sandwich with a side of Onion rings and it hit home. Fantastic flavors, topped with slaw (as an option) and the bun was toasted. Some in our party wanted more sauce (vinegar or sweet sauce choices) which was promptly provided. Others in the party got a special (Baked Flounder) or Fried Chicken, but seeing how it was a first time experience for most... we had to try the BBQ. The restaurant is very clean inside and plenty of parking available and is handicap accessible. If you are on Highway 11 make sure you stop in and say hello and try their BBQ!

Outstanding!! There wasn't one thing in the buffet that wasn't good. Will def be back. Great down home country cooking and great customer service.

Shout out to Whitleys BBQ in Murfreesboro, NC. Cassie James, Brandon Ivey, and the rest of the staff did a fantastic job feeding the Lenoir Rhyne University Softball team, coaching staff, and about 50 more family friends of the program. The food was great, came out quick, and they had plenty of room for a bunch of hungry Bears. Thanks again to Whitleys staff on a job well done!

Food was delicious. Chatted with the owner's father and mother, who recommended the peach cobbler. It was so good, my sister bought some to go.
