La Cocina Mexicana - Murray

Ate here with my family tonight. Took 10 minutes just to get chips/ drinks ordered. Never gave us refills, took forever to give us our check. There were people seated after us that left before we did. Service was poor quality, and we will not be back.

If it were only me I would give 5 stars but I can only give 4 for our table. The salsa was YUMMY! I had the chicken enchiladas and I thought they were great! Another dish at my table was way too salty and the other too bland but most of them weredelicious. I will definitely go back. Also service was great!

Apparently someone wasn't paying attention and cooked an outlet plug into my fajitas which I bit into.. not even sure how that happens. Obviously ruined our appetites after this.

Happy Cinco De Mayo Murray! Celebrating with 1,000 of my closest friends or so it seamed. There was 30-40 people waiting to be seated, but somehow the servers kept it together and our table of 6 enjoyed a birthday celebration. The food was warm and seasoned well, my wife and I split a House fajitas for two. My daughter had the Murray Burrito, and before the main course is brought out a basket of freshly fried corn chips is set in the middle of the table and a small pitcher of homemade salsa that has just enough spice and heat on the backend that keeps you coming back to it and pouring on everything. The Spanish rice could be the star of the show here, moist and steamed till it’s tender and melts in your mouth. For those that judge a place on the size of the portion this place receives everyone’s vote. Take home boxes are carried by almost everyone out the door. Our fajitas for two could have easily fed 6 people. And the Murray burrito is almost big enough to break down a castle wall. Nothing at our table fell short of fantastic Mexican food at its finest.

Ordered taco salads. Came out very watery and bland taste. Told two servers and their answer was it was runny cheese and the shell was soggy. Not so, I know the difference in the taste between cheese and water. No action was taken except “I’m sorry”. They did bring another dish to pour the water out of my plate.
