Was very very happy got too cold with the air conditioning? Silly me it was hot out but i was cold. Had a perfect date night with my favorite man. Thank you great experience.
I went to Texas Roadhouse last night and ordered the 12 OZ strip steak medium with a salad and sweet potato. When I got my steak, I noticed the color that was not dark, like a grilled Steak would be, but much lighter, like a pork chop. The first thing I had to do is cut 25% off the end of the Steak that was pure fat and gristle. The steak was a little hard to cut and did not taste like I would expect a strip steak to. The bartender came over and asked me how it was and I shook my head. We looked at it closely and the steak was pink all the way through, starting at the edge. Waitress suggested we send it back to throw on the grill again. We did and it came back better. I had to wonder if they had ever thrown it on the fire initially, or just heated it up as the color would suggest. The salad did not seem to have as much effort put into it as I had remembered from previous visits. This use to be my favorite Steakhouse in years gone past. They have fallen to the point where I don't think I will be back. $30.00 for a steak that was not cooked and a Very so so salad made for a poor dinning experience. I hate it when good restaurants go bad, but that seems to happen a LOT more frequently than it has in the past. I wish I saw the walk around manager, but I did not. Good Luck Texas Roadhouse.
Sitting on Wednesday and waiting for a table for about 15 minutes. The restaurant was not crowded, so I assume it was a staff delay. I won't blame them, but just say it seems like a common post pandemic problem. Our waitress was great and also the food. Bread and butter, roasted pimple chips, 8oz New York Strip steaks (boiled perfectly) with a Caesar salad, potatoes and one side of Gravy, rice and sweet potatoes with butter and cinnamon sugar. All were delicious!
On vacation and wanted Texas Roadhouse. Food was good. Staff not as cheerful as others I've been to in other states. Our waitress was great always checked on us, even replaced food that my daughter had an accident with for free. They also honored my free appetizer card from Ohio.
?It?s Texas Roadhouse, y?all.? With nearly 30 years in the making, this steakhouse chain with locations around the world is known for its hand-cut steaks and made from scratch entrees. One taste of their freshly baked rolls with cinnamon butter and you?re hooked. Early Dine In menu gets you a complete meal with an entree and two sides for $10.99. From a Sirloin Steak to Caesar Salad, Pork Chop to Pulled Pork, Country Fried Steak to Chicken Critters, they?ve got you covered. My choice was the grilled pork chop with mashed potatoes and Caesar salad. Salad was crisp romaine, topped with Parmesan cheese and made-from-scratch croutons nicely tossed with a zesty Caesar dressing. Mashed Potatoes was a hearty home style with the skins mashed in with a dollop of butter and a zesty brown gravy on the side. Pork chop was thick, juicy and grilled to perfection. Flavorful and tender checked off all the boxes to a good meal. Atmosphere was subdued and relaxing. Tabitha was amazing and went out her way to make our dining experience very enjoyable. #morselbliss
