Sharkey's Oceanfront - Myrtle Beach

Close dog-friendly restaurant that we found near the beach. great atmosphere with very nice staff! they even gave my pup with a beautiful bowl water. eating was delicious with a generous amount, could not finish everything on my teller. in any case, I would come back next time!

I just had the most impressive meal I have had in a long time. The staff are all excellent. They recommended excellent selections and the chef is simply amazing. We had the seafood platter and the chef was able to blacken the flounder for my husband instead of fried (for health reasons). That made all the difference in our opinion. He listened to our request and the food looked great! The best part is it looked better than it tasted. Great appetizers, great entree, great cocktails. We are happy we came. Thanks also to Jamie who was our server. You made our day and it’s our 16th wedding anniversary. Good Luck to you and Mrs. Jamie as well. It was awesome to meet you. Long live Jamie2rd (squared).

Had dinner here with a group last weekend. 3.5 out of 5. Walking in, the restaurant was undergoing construction and the outdoor patio was closed. The interior was very basic and plain. I wasn't expecting much already was planning back up dinner. However, service was good and the food was good. We all were satisfied and had a good experience. I'm not sure if I would eat here again because many other places to try, but I might stop in for a drink again to check out the remodeling because it has potential being right on the beachfront.

Me and my spouse accidentally pick this place. Service was good not many people but okay. Our food was hot and good. The calamari was rubbery but other than that good place. Prices could be lesser.

Picked this place for the view a cash back deal on upside. First thing is the tacos were good. Not my issue. My husbands lobster roll he liked but felt it was small for the price. Think they should consider larger portions maybe more fries, third taco etc. we hesitated to order an appetizer didn’t bc of the automatic 18 gratuity even for 2 ppl. It was almost $60 for 2 drinks, one lobster roll tacos. We left hungry. Prices, rent etc going up everywhere but still want value for your money. No automatic tipping on small parties anywhere else we’ve been. We won’t be back sorry to say.
