I would leave no stars if I could. This place is not hospitable and was not busy ...to the extent that you...as a customer...would be ignored. I was doing a loop with a friend of the big island and we stopped at this place, since she hadnt been to this establishment since 2004. During 2004 she had a great experience..but today....there was only one server. A tall girl who did not seem concerned who came in. We sat down for 20 minutes....grabbing our own menus....and the server gave us no eye contact. I literally said hi and nodded my head, and she SLOWLY walked by. I didnt want to sound loud, so I texted my friend about the rudeness of the server. I tried one last time to communicate. The moment I asked if we could be helped...she said I 'm not the one to help you and referenced someone else....that I didnt even see...and she walked away. At that point, it was time to go. Locals and others might like this spot....but its obvious that they dont want business from tourists and maybe they 're doing it as a side project, because the main tall server girl....and she knows who she is... will continue losing money for this place. All she had to say is.... "Ill be right with you or someone will be with you. ' ' ' But, she didnt even do that. She literally looked away from me when I looked at her directly. My friend and I both saw how rude she was and decided to blow this place up on Google. Avoid this place at all costs. Go to the Sweetbread Bakery up the road. They will greet you and make better food than what you get here. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE NIGHTMARE. And anyone who writes a one star review....BELIEVE THEM. Especially the one who had over 13 people state the review was helpful. Obviously, the rude service means this job means nothing to the server or more importantly, the owner.

Had a wonderful meal with my wife and our best friends. I had the fish and chips the fish was Ono and it was delicious. My wife had kanua pork with cabbage, my friend also had that they both loved it and my other friend had Shaka doodle doo, and also loved it. So we had a great meal and are planning on coming back in 5 years for our next wedding vows renewal. Parking: Additional parking in real. Service: Dine in

One of may favorite places..Friday night in Naalehu...Best Long Island Ice Teas..ask for Erika ...she is GREAT..best service and customer service!!!!!...
