Bidra med feedbackFriendly staff, english menu was a little outdated but the food was enjoyable. It was quiet with music on the large projector wall providing nice entertainment.
Didn't expect to find good Kyushu specialty Hakata ramen in soba country, but here it is and it's great. English menu is helpful for figuring out topping options (Burnt garlic oil? Yes, please. and also for ordering noodles to the firmness you want I thought I'd prefer them firm, but it turns out that normal is more my speed. They also do noodle refills (kaedama for a hundred yen, just flag the staff down.
Nice service and lively vibe, given how dead Nagano usually is, however those were probably the worst Ramen I've ever had in Japan (all options seem terrible, we had the burnt garlic and tasteless chili oil ones) and I also don't enjoy ice cubes in my beer that comes with solid frozen froth.
Charsiew Ramen was so delicious. The meat was really tender, the soup was creamy.
Tasty tonkotsu ramen, good portions, fast and friendly service. English menu if you need it. Not expensive. Good option!
