Bidra med feedbackIt was a hot humid afternoon and we walked into the little haven of Deli On Howard in rural Nambour. We ordered made-to-order sandwiches and cold drinks and sat munching while we people-watched. Great value, great service and sooo fresh. I had a basic egg mayo and lettuce sandwich but it was surely the most divine sandwich I've eaten in years. The takeaway side of the business flourished around us while we sat there but wasn't intrusive. We donated to Suspended Coffee pay-it-forward and I hope this traditional little sandwich bar has a long and happy life!
Always looking for a good coffee - and this one wasn't too bad at all. There was a good range of food on offer - all looking fresh and delicious. Situated right in the heart of town, and next to my favourite barber, the small but adequate shop was a pleasant experience.
I work near Deli on Howard, we call up and order sandwiches for lunch or meetings. Fresh bread, meats and salads freshly made to order and very well priced. A ham and salad sandwich $5.50. Great service and friendly staff. There are a few tables if you want to dine in.
Finding a place to eat in France on a Sunday can be challenging, but I decided to dine at this brasserie located inside a hotel near the tourist office.
Tried two traditional brasserie dishes: veal head and sauerkraut with assorted meats, both were delicious.
