Nambucca Heads Island Golf Club

Last Friday night, we had a family gathering at the Island Restaurant in the Golf Club, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food was excellent, and the views of the river at sunset were stunning. The chef did an incredible job preparing 11 delicious meals for our group all at once! The kingfish special and the fresh (not frozen) gold band snapper with chips were highlights. The stone steak grill was a hit as well! The staff were friendly, and there was a great variety of options on the menu to cater to different tastes, including some vegetarian dishes. The outdoor deck was lovely too. Thank you!

Had the Wednesday snitzel special. Snitzel was well crumbed and cooked. Had the Hawaiian which was good, chips were also good as well as the garlic bread.$18 can't go wrong and the views were great.

All dishes were amazing, I had for Dinner special organised Hot Rock steaks and perfect with a prawn skewer with garlic sauce

The food was incredible, and the view was stunning. The ribs and lamb shanks were out of this world, and I thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate lava cake for dessert. The staff was very friendly, and the service was excellent. I would definitely visit again!

Not from around town, looking for places and come across this gem on a Thursday night is steak night and there was one dish that caught my eye it was stone grilled steak and it was amazing!!! Shelley the waiter was happy to put though some as unfortunately to limited stock of stones you have to book in advance so definitely make sure you do that as you don't what to miss out on the beautiful steak and views of the water.
