Bidra med feedbackI hadn’t been to this restaurant in at least 20 years, so we decided to give it a try before heading to the farmers market. Despite being very busy, it was a seat-yourself situation, and we were quickly seated. To our surprise, our waitress greeted us immediately. I ordered the prime rib and eggs, along with a side of French toast. We also had biscuits and gravy, and a couple of other dishes with sausage patties for the two girls in our group. Everyone enjoyed their meals, although I wasn’t a fan of the gravy for the biscuits—it might just be a matter of personal taste. The French toast wasn’t to my liking either, but my husband loved the Texas toast version. I can't emphasize enough how fantastic our waitress was; she was prompt, attentive, and managed to stay on top of things despite the busy atmosphere. The restaurant itself is adorable, filled with charming vintage and antique pieces, particularly at the bar. There was plenty of seating, and even with the crowd, it didn’t feel cramped. Overall, the menu offered great options at reasonable prices.
Better than I remembered! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday with a party of eight on a Wednesday morning, and it felt just like home. The restaurant buzzed with activity, which suited our lively family perfectly. Our server, Angeleah, was incredibly attentive and kind—truly a gem that every restaurant should have. The rest of the staff was also very helpful. Angeleah made fantastic recommendations, including the cinnamon swirl French toast, which was enormous—one slice is more than enough! The cinnamon French toast was rich and delicious, and honestly, it didn’t even need syrup. We had no complaints about the food or coffee, and we can’t wait to return!
The service is fantastic, with warm and welcoming staff. The food is excellent! I've enjoyed both breakfast and lunch there, and it never fails to impress. The portion sizes are generous. I often bring my friend along, and they love it too. Thank you for providing such a wonderful dining experience!
We went to the car show in Nampa. Afterward, we dropped in for breakfast at La Baron's Honker Cafe. The waitress was sweet and attentive. The building was old but clean. The food was just okay. We both left most of the food on our plates. I had a spinach omelet. It wasn't good, and my hubby had chicken fried steak. The steak was excellent. The biscuits were hard, and the gravy tasted like flour. The potatoes were very good and so was the toast. Maybe we will come back another time and try something different.
It had been a while since we eating here but have to say The pancakes
