Aladdin's Café - Nanaimo Canada

Excellent service, really tasty and filling vegetarian platter (finished leftovers at home the next day), and dog friendly. They were very accommodating with our dog. We sat outside and the nice lady at the counter brought our dog a shawarma complimentary dinner, which she wolfed down in seconds. Had a wonderful experience here.

Needed a quick meal on a Wednesday night in Nanaimo that would please vegans and vegetarians. Aladdin's looked warm and inviting so we gave it a go. Ordered a Greek salad and 3 vegetarian platters between the four of us. The meals came with baskets of pita bread. Loads of bread. The waitress was very friendly and gracious. The platters were super yum and healthy. Loved the hummus. Loved the carrots. We had way more than enough food. Would absolutely return for another visit while traveling through Nanaimo. Also, one of our group left their wallet in the restaurant by accident. The staff knew we were going to be at the bar next door for the band's show and rushed over to return his wallet. 5 stars for that effort and honesty

First time in Nanaimo, first restaurant I've tried in town, and my was it ever tasty. Super delicious fresh middle eastern food prepared with care and pride, delightful staff, well priced wine and a warm cozy ambiance what could go wrong? Highly recommend.

Best Lebanese meal I ever had . The rice was seasoned so nicely . I got kefta and tiger prawn . It was just perfect . Kefta was delicious and the tiger prawn was just looking like they explode of flavour . The tzaziki sauce was delicious and I had a lots . They let me taste the tomato pasto , which was amazing . The salad I had in my plate was so good . Everything was fresh . I highly recommend this place . The decor , the food . Wow ! Thank you and like you say : everything is made with love .

We are staying in Nanaimo for a few days and found this place after we got off the ferry. We had lunch with baba ganoush and lamb and chicken pitas. Delicious! Nice atmosphere and the service was excellent.
