The Discovery Room - Nanaimo

This is such a Nanaimo gem would recommend it to anyone that likes good food and service.

Food was amazing!!! Will definitely book again. Everything is very affordable and each plates are a piece of art. Service was very fast. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because we had difficulty hearing our server. To be fair, it is difficult with masks. Highly recommended booking it. Food is outstanding.

Love eating here and providing a way for students to practice.

All tables were full at the 5:30 and already one of the entrees was off the menu. The service was slower than usual and seemed to be a problem in the kitchen as our waiter was attentive. As we finished up my wife had a Monte Cristo and it was delayed on coming as the kitchen didn't have whipped cream. Not sure if it was new students or not but out of the 4 or 5 times we have visited the Discovery room this was not our favourite by far. Hopefully next time later in the year will be better.

The Discovery Room continues to deliver an outstanding selection of appetizers and entrees. Both service and food were wonderful ... from the amuse bouche to the dessert. It was a great happy new year culinary experience for the six of us.
