LE CAPRI - Nancy

Arrived for a late lunch of Verdura pizza. Our waitress was very friendly and spoke some English. We were not rushed out, even though the lunch hour was over. Pizza was excellent.

Tried once before and satisfied ,second time around even better. Service from Cedric and his team was fast and efficient, the dish of Aperos was a delight and so cheap. Main course of pave was well cooked and my wife's pizza more than adequate. The restaurant is at the start of the restaurant route but should not be ignored.

There's plenty of choice of restaurants in the centre of Nancy but for a hungry cyclist finding one with good size portions & plenty of carbohydrates on the menu isn't quite so easy, plus as the weather was quite changeable they have plenty of inside seating.Service was fast & friendly with multi lingual staff, they have a good choice of Italian dishes & the risotto I chose was excellent, tasty & with a good combination of seafood. Washed down with a good beer I was a happy customer!

Opens around 7pm and they are very busy during the summer. Their Pizza is very good and so are their salads. Reasonably priced and the lead waiter is very nice. Great place for kids too as they get 'prizes' with their childrens menu. We go once a week!

Two years in Nancy and so many trips to the Capri (Lunch and Dinner)...A massive menu (which may appear a bit overwhelming) makes this a great place to eat in a group as most people can find a couple of dishes to fit their fancy. Adequate food at reasonable prices, huge portions and never anything bad.Deserts such as the tarte tatin and chocolate fondu are musts and can easily be shared between two or three people.Charming staff always up for a laugh and open to serve late comers (past 9.30pm)...This place is constantly full and buzzing and deservedly so.
