Bidra med feedbackGreat flavors! This small stand like ice store has much more to offer than it shows! Their orange flavored chocolate and lemon cookies are phenomenal! You can buy in cups or pints. It is not pricy, and they have great staff! Definitely a must try if you don't already!
Three Twins Ice Cream is my favorite ice cream available in mass at grocery stores and so I was excited to get a scoop firsthand. I was surprised that the mint chocolate chip ice cream had more slivers of chocolate than chips. Nonetheless, I was stoked to get a kid's cup for $2.95. There are options to raise money with a $3K sundae...I'd love to see someone order that.
My family had dessert here in August 2013 and absolutely loved the ice cream. My 4 year hold inhaled his chocolate peanut butter scoop and came up asking for more. My 2 year old liked his raspberry sorbet (one of two options they have with no egg). But of course two young kids liked the ice cream. The more discriminating palates belonged to my wife 's parents, both of whom raved about the quality of the ice cream. So, we 'll go back. One interesting thing they have posted on the wall is an invitation to purchase the world 's most expensive cup of ice cream. For $60,000 the founder will hand make you all the ice cream you can eat from one of the disappearing glaciers on the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The idea is to call attention to global warming and the impact it is having on these glaciers. Is it too wonky and ornery of me to point out that the shrinkage of those particular glaciers has nothing to do with CO2, but is rather due to changes in weather patters resulting from deforestation in the areas surrounding the mountain? In any case, kudos to these guys for the clever idea.
The strawberry flavor, however, tasted more like frozen yogurt—it was quite tart and had no discernible strawberry pieces, although it paired nicely with the lemon cookie ice cream. My husband ordered a root beer float, and while the ice cream was excellent, the root beer was just Hanson's right out of the can. That was a bit disappointing, as it didn't complement the ice cream well. We would have preferred to pay a little more for a higher-quality root beer that would enhance the overall experience. Maybe in the future, you could consider offering a selection of root beers? We would definitely return for the ice cream, but we would pass on the root beer float.
Delicious organic ice cream! They offer gluten-free cones and non-dairy options. I especially enjoyed the salted caramel and cardamom flavors. The staff is very friendly. It’s conveniently located in the market with ample parking.
