Naples Valley Bbq

This BBQ place has been closed since at least June 2022 (1st I noticed). They weren't that good anyway, but It would be nice if they updated their websites. Check or Neopolitan pizza instead. Amazing!

When we received the bill for $48, I thought it was quite expensive given the quality of the food. To make matters worse, when I tried to pay with a credit card, I was informed that the payment machine was down. It would have been helpful to know this before finishing our meal. Fortunately, I had cash on hand. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The food was mediocre at best. My half chicken was cooked perfectly, but it had no barbecue or smoky flavor whatsoever. My wife's pulled pork sandwich was similarly average, and the mac and cheese we ordered as a side was watery and bland until we added pepper and barbecue sauce to enhance the flavor. Throughout our meal, we were bothered by numerous flies due to the open door, which was quite off-putting. When it came time to pay, we were informed that their card system had been down all day—a fact we were never told when we entered. They required cash, of which we didn’t have enough. As a result, I had to leave and go to a nearby bank, which charged me a fee, and my bank would also incur a charge for not using their ATM. This experience ended up costing me an additional $8 simply because we weren't informed about the card reader issue. Typically, I would give a restaurant a second chance, but I don’t think I’ll be returning here.

I arrived with a strong hunger, but left feeling quite frustrated. It's disappointing when a restaurant has an Instagram, Facebook, Google listing, and even its own website, yet none of them are updated to indicate that they are closed. This was on a Saturday during the summer on a lovely day. We first checked at 12:15 PM, then again at 1 PM after we found somewhere else to eat on our way back. Their hours claimed they opened at noon. Do they only seem to count on the weekend of the grape festival? Are they just hosting friends and family for a backyard gathering? It's truly disappointing…

Don’t bother showin up, came here last year and they were closed. Looks like they will be closed again.
