Off The Bone Bbq Ribhouse - Naples

I'm always excited to share new spots to support small businesses and capture some great photos for you all. I’m giving this place a solid 5 stars! The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is adorable. I was really impressed with the quality of the dishes, especially the cornbread and real mashed potatoes—definitely give them a try! The entire restaurant has a delightful smoky aroma, and the portion sizes are quite generous. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience and have no regrets at all.

The management is absolutely amazing. My family loves going here on the weekends and hanging out. The food is always cooked to perfection. The workers are always so sweet and checking up on us. I highly recommend this restaurant

Didn’t bother eating here. However, waited for like 15 mins just for water and a beer. Beer then had a hair on it. Put in an appetizer and waited for server to come back to take order. Another 15 mins and still no appetizer and no sign of the server. Table in the back arrived prior to us and even they had not been served yet. There was a total of 3 tables so it didn’t seem super busy. Would’ve been understandable if someone said so sorry we are short handed, etc…but to just disappear and not come back in a timely manner is a little frustrating. I’ve been to countless restaurants in Naples and yet to see service like this until today. Paid for the drinks and left. Can’t say anything about the food but just off that experience wouldn’t recommend.

I hate to give reviews like this but was not impressed. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and the buns were cold like if they had just been pulled out of the plastic bag. My husband ordered a full rack of ribs and it was more like a half a rack and sadly the ribs were over cooked and barely had any meat on them, meat was hard. Wish I would have taken a picture of the ribs but I was so disappointed that I didn’t even think about it. Even though the food was not good the service was actually very good. Our waitress was very kind andattentive. The reason I give 4 stars was for the service.

After reading through so many raving reviews we decided to give Off the Bone a try. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. I 've ate at many BBQ joints all over the US. Some were excellent, some good, and some bad. I have to say though, I was very disappointed with the Brisket and Ribs. A properly cooked Brisket should be tender and juicy so it pulls apart with your fingers. Theirs was so tough that it reminded me of a softer Beef Jerky and it lacked that unique Brisket taste. The ribs tasted okay but, they were dry and chewy, not tender and juicy. I did like the Cheesy Grits. As someone who knows how Brisket and Ribs should be cooked, I have to say that Off the Bone was seriously lacking in that department. I guess we 'll continue our search for a great local Rib joint. Do they even exist in SW Florida??
