Bidra med feedbackWe were in Naples for a four day conference. We ate here the first night, and loved it so much that we came back for a second night.
The food is good but the desert was the best. It gets rather warm since it faces west. I can't handle that. I don't think I would go back again.
While heading to another restaurant further north on Tamiami trail, Watermark Grille caught our attention with its ambient lighting. Arrival at our intended destination yielded a suspiciously empty parking lot and a peek inside the door showed a sea of barren tables with a couple of waiters standing around looking bored. We beat a quick retreat and returned to Watermark, which was pleasantly populated but not requiring reservations or a lengthy wait. The crescent-shaped, bi-level dining area with touches of Art Deco decor makes a pleasant backdrop to an extensive mid-priced menu. Chicken gizzards as an appetizer were divine. The steak/lobstermania (a month long special on the last night of its run) was an excellent value. Service was prompt but unhurried, friendly but not too friendly. Our waiter clearly was practiced in springing lobster from its shell. Too bad Watermark isn't open for breakfast or lunch as well.
Four of us have been coming here for 3 years now to celebrate our anniversaries. Reservations are easy, service is great, and love the atmosphere.
The staff at the Watermark Grille did a fantastic job at making my parents evening very special. They celebrated 66 years of marriage and felt very welcomed by the staff. Helen made our reservation and noted about the occasion. Beth our server was wonderful. She brought out a plate of crème brûlée that was creatively decorated that ended the evening nicely. Thank you all for making a wonderful memory that I will always cherish.
