The Corner - Napoleonville

I stopped by for lunch and enjoyed my experience. The food was tasty, and they offered a nice variety of drinks and beers. I would definitely like to return the next time I'm in town.

We had a pleasant evening enjoying drinks and appetizers on a weekday. We chose to sit outside on the couches and really appreciated the lovely weather. Our server was very attentive. The Margarita was excellent, and we loved the burnt BBQ tips, which had a nice spicy kick!

We had lunch here and spent some time at the bar in the afternoon. The bartender was incredibly helpful, guiding us through the various beer options to help us make our selections. During lunch, our server was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed some unique appetizers, including the Spicy Guacamole and Chile Pimento Fritters, and our main courses were excellent—especially the Pork Carnitas. The margarita selection was impressive, and we tried several of them. Overall, it was a great value as well.

We ate here almost a year, had great service, food was wonderful, and we couldn't wait to go back. As we live in Round Rock, we don't often get to downtown. We had the opportunity to return this past weekend for our friend's birthday and I noticed that it was Cathy's birthday. This time I was a little disappointed and not in a hurry to go back. Our first waitress was Elora and she was wonderful, but we heard she didn't work there anymore. We had Brendan and he wasn't very attentive. It took forever to get drinks that might not have been Brendan's fault, but I feel he could communicate with us a little better about the situation. Cathy (BDay Girl) ordered a glass of wine, but what she ordered was not in stock. She wasn't informed until all our other drinks came out. She ordered an alternative glass and we were all ready to order our drinks and ready to order a second and had eaten our appetizer before their glass arrived. The short ribs were the main reason I wanted to go back. They were delicious for the first time, but this time they were dry and disappointing. Cathy never got a wish of Happy Birthday from the staff. Not even a little comment from someone. Total disappointing. Even though I'm not against a return to Corner, there are many other restaurants in this area, and I think we'll try to get the ones out instead of returning to Corner.

We ate here with our family after a brief stay at JW during Texas ice storm. The menu offers such variety. The staff is friendly and accommodating to. Delicious eggs Benedict. My personal favorite. Great choice!
