Bidra med feedbackI saw one of these legendairy milkshake bars featured on a food channel, so I thought it best to pay a visit. Of course, being a chain there is no real charm to the place and the restroom reminds me of a bad dream, but the shakes are delicious and painfullyfilling! Unfortunately, I think the shakes are priced a bit high, yes, they are huge and full of awesome stuff, but if I amgoing to pay 36$ for two shakes again, the ice cream better be homemade and the ambiance something better than a busstation. Cheers!
We absolutely loved this milkshake bar! They were so fancy and tasted really amazing too! We got the Shake it Up, Buttercup! And the Sweet Salty Cheesecake. They were both very good and even tasted really good mixed. The sweet and Salty kinda helped bringthe overly sweet buttercup down a notch. Would totally come back here! They are pretty filling. We split two between 4 peopleeasily.
If you're not actively searching for this place, you might easily miss it. The woman behind the counter was incredibly helpful, pointing out that the 8 oz milkshake is only $1.00 less than the 16 oz size, so you may as well opt for the 16 oz if you're planning to share. And let me tell you, it's piled high with sugar—oh yes, SUGAR! The milkshake is served in a jar, so I definitely think the 16 oz is the better choice. While this place can be pricey, it's a lot of fun to go and try out their creative concoctions.
The presentation was outstanding, and the flavor combinations were refreshingly unique! They even offered options for those who are dairy-free. While the high prices are understandable given the effort required to craft these dishes and the cost of rent in a major city, the flavors didn’t quite justify the expense. Additionally, you don't get to keep the glass as a souvenir; that costs an extra $3.
Pros: Excellent location, extensive menu, friendly staff Cons: Expensive
