The Mexican food in Louisiana is not as good as it sounds. Despite the friendly staff, the dining experience is disappointing. The guacamole is more like a dip, the cheese doesn't melt, and the fajita meat is tough to chew.
Awful, awful experience! Even though their closing time was 11 o'clock, they claimed to be closed at 10:26, even though they were clearly still open. The next day, I ordered takeout and my chimichanga only had two pieces in it (one on each half) and they still had the bones in them. I called to speak to the manager (I was told the manager's name was Tonio), but they transferred the call to someone named Victor. After explaining my issue to Victor, he was very confrontational. I had hoped for better service, but it seems like it's just a new building with the same terrible service as before. Don't bother wasting your time here.
I recently ordered to leave. the personal was very nice. I ordered the enchildas with a side of buzz and tear. by far the rice was the only thing it was worth eating. my eating was cold and tasty, as if it had been long. that was my first time when I tried this restaurant and it will be my last time.
The food is somewhat flat' yet tasty enough--and plentiful, but someone needs to tell them the difference between a chalupa and a tostada !
