Ginger Pho and Grill - National City

Best pho overall. Of the few pho restaurants that are not located in the El Cajon street area, Pho Ginger has my vote. The pho here has more meat than other restaurants, and the broth is good. The service is better than expected from a Vietnamese restaurant. I wished they serve more herbs (basil, mint, chive.... with each dish. Eating Vietnamese food with not enough herbs is like eating french fries w/o ketchup. They cater to none Vietnamese.

The aroma from the food hit me right when I walked in, and I knew the food would be good. Very homely and clean, staff is attentive and kind. They sat me down almost immediately. Portions are filling, and they have vegetarian options. I got the vegetable Pho, sesame balls and vegetable egg rolls. All were delicious and reasonably priced. My friend's plate also looked good and were large portions.

Always the best Pho soup in town. Favorite place to go. Excellent soup and other foods but overall I love Pho. ,The service is the best fast...very clean. Friendly service with a smile.

Good menu choices for Vietnamese, with some interesting choice of spring rolls. Good service and fresh food.

Wow, great pho, and great prices near downtown. Waited a long time for this. I found this place when the prices were raised at the last place I had pho delivered from. In all fairness, probably to combat the excessive fees levied by the delivery services but nevertheless that's why I came a knocking. So glad I did! It's not easy to find great pho down here. Lots of variations, some even creative, but rarely authentic. Ginger's pho is perfect, and also well proportioned. You guys have my business now for sure!
