Bidra med feedbackIt was a little hesitant to come here based on the reviews, but we came to dinner at a night when we didn't feel like leaving the island. The waitress was super friendly and our food was good. Another plus was that there was no waiting time.
I can't fathom the negative reviews for Broussard's. I had never tried Cajun food before, mostly due to my apprehension about the spices. However, I must say, if everything is as delicious as the creamy cheese dish with pineapples, shrimp, and Cajun bread that I had tonight, I'm completely sold! Beyond the amazing food, I received excellent advice and truly friendly service from Terrell. The warm conversation with Conner made this the best dining experience we've had in six months here in Florida. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to our family and friends, and we will be returning for sure. A big thank you to the chefs, Terrell, and Conner!
First of all, I want to highlight that this place is very welcoming for friendly outdoor pets, which I definitely appreciate. Now, onto the food: the Angry Gator Bites were fantastic! The blackened shrimp were also great. The fried white fish was just okay; it seemed to be missing something in terms of flavor, but it wasn't bad. The fries that accompanied the fish were very good. However, I was disappointed with the Jalapeño cornbread—it tasted like it was a day old and a bit hard. On the bright side, the chicken gumbo was very delicious, as were the red beans and rice. Both the potato salad and coleslaw had a fresh and tasty flavor. The key lime cake was definitely worth it as well. Overall, the service was exceptional. This place has a lot to offer!
Delicious food enjoyed in a lovely late afternoon, complemented by the refreshing sea breeze. Our server, Kendra, was friendly and attentive, contributing to a wonderful experience.
