Castaneda Meat Market Taqueria

It's about the only option for Mexican food I found on my fast pass through the city of Navasota. I had a potato and egg taco and a Babacoa taco. Barbacoa was very good.

This little piece from the street meat market is a hidden gem. Every time I drive here, I stuff and eat these delicious tacos. You also have a selection of Mexican candy.

I stopped at the taqueria of the meat market to have a few lunch tacos together with my staff. The staff was very accommodating and cooperative while wearing masks and practicing social distancing. The store was clean and they had a fresh selection of meat and a nice selection of boiled Mexican ducks. I will try to make it a point to stop there and grab a few tacos when we are back in Navasota, I definitely recommend them!

Always great tacos! My fave taco place in Navasota. Great soups, plates, Tortas and Gordita, too. The meat market is also great.
