Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant was very disappointing. The wings tasted like they had been cooked in old oil, and the fries seemed reused and just reheated. The server did not wear gloves and handled everything before bringing the food to our table. Overall, it was a terrible experience!
They met near you and near you when you broke it. Wings Locas is NOT what it used to be. You've changed the chefs, which was a terrible choice. Whoever is the new cook is missing the brand. The wings were fried so hard that the meat was dry and hard to chew. I ordered lemon pepper wings, but it tasted like beer salt. Onion rings had no taste and tasted like flour. Of course, this visit was very disappointing.
Decided to try it out as it had been recommended to us by a friend. A bit hard to find the place since there was no sign and it was hiding behind another Mexican restaurant. It looks like there 's some kind of construction going on still as there are piles of rocks around the entrance and the front door still had an unfinished wall but the sign said open so we went in. Place was very empty, only one other couple in there, but it was clean and had several TVs on. We ordered some wings, a quesadilla, cheese sticks, fries, and pickle chips. They do have a nice selection of beer and Mexican sodas and the waitress bright us chicharrones as a snack. The food was good, service was good, although the ambiance was a bit of a mystery. Did not know if it was a bar or a restaurant. Kind of dark to be a restaurant but too bright to be a bar or cantina. Prices were decent, around $14 per person, including drinks. If I may make a suggestion: ditch the low lights and the You Tube low-fi playlists, put something interesting on the TVs, and make the wings sauce spicier. The extra hot was at most very mild and do remind the guests that you have beer on tap. Thank you.
Was an ok place , just felt pretty outta place when it seems that just locals go there probably on a daily basis . The music was non stop but not my preference in what was being played , waitress was not at all knowledgeable of much , seems to me like she was new I'm assuming . But food was surprisingly great , the wings could use more sauce but they were tasty !!! Price wasn't to bad , but they do need to update there website wing prices are completely different !!!
I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was good, and one of the first things they do is bring out fresh pork rinds/chicharrones with a dipping sauce that is mayo-based. Normally I don't like pork rinds, but these were excellent. I got a combo with eight wings, and fries, and it was less than $10. Their Lemon Pepper wings are wet (normally it is a dry rub), so that was unique. They serve the wings with ranch, and another portion of the pork rind dipping sauce. The ranch is clearly not made in house, but it's not bad. Also, I am gluten free (due to an allergy), and many times I get sick from cross contamination or hidden ingredients, but I had no problem with anything that I got.
