Le repas était délicieux, simple, bien cuisiné et copieux, nous avons aimé manger chez vous ! La serveuse à été attentionnée, nous reviendrons vous voir avec grand plaisir ! Merci beaucoup à tous !
Amazing local food with good portions! Very affordable too.
It's only our second time in this restaurant, and it is very popular, but that is not surprising as the food is excellent, as is the price. I chose pork cheeks, which were absolutely delicious, while my husband and one friend chose fish, our other friend chose chicken. We all enjoyed our meals. The price for mains, dessert, wine, water and coffee was 11€ p.p.
This place opened several weeks ago, and as far as we know they only open at lunchtime, and Tuesday to Friday. Unfortunately we don't speak very much Portuguese, and the young waitress does not do foreign and switched off, refusing to understand anything we asked her. The fact that there was no menu available, which is a first for us here in Portugal, most places do have a board either outside or inside with dish/dishes of the day or a menu on it didn't make the ordering process any easier! With the assistance of one of the customers we were able to order pork leg with rice and chips, hake in batter with savoury rice. Both dishes were very tasty, and portions are quite large. We also had a half litre of water, and a half litre of house red. There was also bread, olives and homemade tuna pate. dessert was crème caramel, followed by coffees. The place is popular with locals, because the food is delicious and the price is very good. We paid 17 euros for our lunch. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. This is a restaurant I would recommend to other people even though we had a problem with the language.....
