Margam Fish - Neath Port Talbot

Worse fish and chips ever had batter soggy uncooked chips left overs and soggy this place has nothing going for it never to return.

Had a delivery on 16 April at 5 o’clock. We had Donna kebab , fish and chips. The best we have had. Large kebab with salad was delicious. Fish was delicious and chips were also delicious. Was told it would take one hour and it was exactly that . Order was easy over phone, with very polite man . Delivery man was very polite . The food arrived hot . Highly recommend this fish bar . Thank you .

Starving! Told the missus, go get fish and chips. Kev the Rev recommends Margam Fish Bar. Well, I eat out regularly, take-aways far too often, and hadn't had our traditional Friday night fare for a while. A sure Revelation. Perfectly cooked to handle that timely journey. The quality for the price! Best value for money meal I have had in a while. I regularly have the Hake with chips in La Brasserie Swansea and this was far, far tastier. Prince of Wales the same. Could not recommend more. Well Done!

Last minute decision led us to Margam Fish Bar for some quick fish and chips, with a battered sausage thrown in. I must say, it was one of the best pieces of fish I've had in a while, with nice, flaky texture throughout. The chips were classic chip shop fare, with plenty of crispy bits at the bottom. Despite it being one of their busiest nights, the food was fantastic and at a great price. I would definitely recommend stopping by after a visit.

After searching for a fish chip shop in Port Talbot and finding lots closed, we ended up at this one. Staff were friendly and helpful, we didn’t wait long, there was a good menu selection, huge portion of chips (and we only ordered medium portions), prices were great, other food was freshly cooked, and all the food was tasty and not greasy at all. We’ll definitely return.
