Bidra med feedbackThree Englishmen walked into a Welsh pub - one from Bristol, a South Londoner and a loud Millwall fan, and a Midlander. Fortunately, nothing bad happened. The locals were friendly and even the pub dog came over for a stroke, after initially barking like a guard dog. We enjoyed some pre-baked bean beverages and a much-needed post-"what the hell just happened and why was it so orange?" second visit to the bar. The pub perfectly complemented the absurdity and surrealness of our baked-bean-themed day out. Thanks to the regulars who played along and didn't give away the joke to my two mates who were completely clueless. Cheers!
I recently ordered the best Sunday lunch from this restaurant over the phone and had it delivered. It was outstanding and there was plenty of food. It tasted just like homemade and had a choice of beef, pork, turkey, or lamb. We chose the beef and it melted in our mouths. I will definitely be ordering from here again, as I have never been disappointed with the quality of the food.
Rare Estate Pub is a unique find, with its cozy atmosphere and delicious food. You can grab a pint and savor a meal while enjoying the outdoor seating options, including a designated Nicotine Area and a large sun shade - possibly the biggest in all of Wales.
It was a fantastic evening. I will definitely be returning for another night out. Very relaxed.
Proper estate pub. No thrills. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced.
