Sokrates - Neckarsteinach

After a long hike we went to Socrates with friends. Beverage order was quick and easy. The food was waiting for you. Okay, the restaurant was well visited and we were also a big group. Overall, the dishes could not score. Meat DriedIt makes no sense to approach, the list is too long. Where all the good reviews come from, I'm sick of it. The restaurant itself must have seen long better times. Not only toilet cleaning has long been overdue. All very managed, but really disturbing was the lack of cleanliness. Even the mocha was served in a dirty cup. Even for inmeated Greece fans a challenge. Operation as good as possible, but even if you're on excessively funny small talk. Clear conclusion: Not recommended

The visit was worth it again. From great aperitif to the appetizer to the main dish everything is very good. Excellent Tomahawk Steak! On the point medium rare, with salt and pepper.... unbelievably good meat. Great!

Very nice and friendly service, you feel immediately welcome. Food very delicious: we had fish, lamb, vegetarian all it tasted very good. Unfortunately, only 4 stars due to the need for renovation. We like to come back.

We had often been Greek, although we haven't had so many good experiences with it. We had had a garlic steak from the cow, which was very thinly knocked (I actually only know about schnitzel). Steak was very dry, and Pommes had not been fried in fresh fat. I would have done much better at home. Lovely dressed, salad was boring, furnishings have already seen better days. Not recommended for someone who is a bit demanding.

Easy setup. Friendly, attentive service. Very delicious food. Cheap prices and great selection. Recommended family business.
