A warm greeting awaits at Deli Rose, where you can enjoy delicious sandwiches served with chips and a special sauce in a charming converted house setting.
During our three-day stay in Nelson, we dined out multiple times, including two visits to the Yellow Deli. The food was incredible, all organic and made in-house.
Two vegans and two meat eaters all found something that we enjoyed for a mid morning meal (brunch"ish"). The fruit salad was fresh and tasty, the multigrain croissants were decadent, lots of options for soups, salads, smoothies and snacks. Nice ambiance and we'll definitely be back.
This is a cafeteria type food order system where you pay at the end of the line. There are not too many food choices and some of the selections are a bit odd like my breakfast sandwich on a bun was apple and Gouda cheese and something thing else. The muffins were amazing. If you are in a real hurry skip this place as the food preparation is quite slow. The prices on the other hand are VERY LOW in comparison to other restaurants. Likewise, there are little or no factory made delivered food items. If you have a little extra time, the experience of eating at Farm Fresh Cafe is worth it. Frankly, I think this restaurant ought to be on the To Do List if you visit Nelson, BC.
