Decarlo’s Italian Cafe - Neosho

I honestly do love DeCarlo’s. But the fact their hours/days being open literally vary week by week and no one ever answers their Facebook message to try to see solid busisness hours makes me think the owner doesn’t care. We have shown up many times making sure they were open first and the door would be locked. Update your hours please! And answer the phone when people call. I hate to see a place with good food and friendly wait staff go to waste cause of neglects like this

Food was pretty good; we don't have great Italian in the area.

We visited from Kansas City as part of a close-to-home anniversary getaway. I was particularly impressed by the young staff who provided a better customer service experience than the most expensive restaurants in Kansas City. Everybody smiled and greeted us warmly, our server was attentive and very quick, our orders were taken and filled accurately, and all food was hot and fresh.The garlic cheese bread and wine were top-notch. The salad was also delicious, and they make their own in-house dressing, which is tasty. The main course left something to be desired, as it was not up to par with the appetizers and wine. I had the tortellini, my wife had the chicken parmesan. Both dishes were hot and fresh, but the tortellini was overpowered with the sharpness of the gorgonzola cheese, which was out of balance with the buttery alfredo cream sauce. The chicken parmesan was overcooked and the chicken was dry. The spaghetti in that dish was delicious, but overall, the dish was too dry.If they would elevate the main dishes to the level of the appetizers, wine, and customer service, this place would be 5 stars.

Food is good but the owner is a complete show show. He had me work for him and closed down 16 days out of 30 and promised to cover my lack of work. Didn’t cover it and shorted me $118 on my last check and text me bragging about it. I showed up to receive my check from him at his house and he tried to fight me. He is a child, do not go here. Also, they leave meat sitting out for days on end with no lids. As real as real gets I wouldn’t go here.

Ive went twice in the past 2 weeks and they havent been open during their business hours. Nobody answers the phone when i call either. Very frustrating.
