Bidra med feedbackThis bakery consistently offers delicious desserts. I've visited twice during my time in town and was not let down. The staff is incredibly friendly and justifiably proud of their creations.
I ordered a cake to be delivered on the 5th, but when I received confirmation that it wouldn't arrive until the 8th, I reached out via email and phone. I was told the estimated delivery time would be updated. However, by July 5th, the cake still hadn't arrived. I called on Saturday and was informed that the manager would return my call on Monday, which wasn’t helpful since I had an event on the 6th. Ultimately, the cake arrived on the 8th in poor condition. I spoke with a manager about getting a refund or a replacement, and I opted for a replacement even though my event had already passed. The new cake arrived on Wednesday, the 10th, and it was extremely dry. I followed the serving instructions, but it didn't meet my expectations. I don’t usually complain or write negative reviews, but I can’t help but feel disappointed. The website states that cakes ship overnight or via 2-day shipping, but the original order clearly specified standard ground shipping, which takes 3-5 days.
I ordered the Red Velvet cake for my wife's birthday, and it arrived exactly as described. She said it's the best cake she's ever had. I also had two pieces, and I'm not usually a fan of cake. I will definitely order again!
Amazing coconut cake... it's my favorite! That being said, we love all their cakes and treats. The chocolate pie is very good, I love their meringue!
I have ordered from Sugarees on several occasions for events, and have friends that have. The food items are delicious. Our fire district is very small with a limited amount of industry. This causes us to have to rely on surrounding areas for donations to our auctions, etc. Our department have never been on there when we didn’t get the old “we’ve reached our donation limit for the year” saying. Pretty sure they also reported our firefighters (which were properly identified) for stopping by. The big chief in New Albany posted a few minutes later telling businesses not to donate. Cookies here are great, but in our case, their service tasted like dirt.
