Bidra med feedbackWe went for the restaurant week menu and were not disappointed at all. The food was superb and there were many choices. We both started with the peach carpaccio which is thin slices of peach topped with some greens mixed with duck confit and there are candies nuts on the plate as well. Entrees were the hanger steak and the crab and potatoe crusted halibut. Both were prepared perfectly and the sides delicious. Desserts were the chocolate trifle and the peach sorbet, which was a bit lighter than the first choice. Doniciello picked a perfect french Chardonnay to accompany our wine. For us, having the attention of such a knowledgeable sommelier makes a real difference. The only issue here is parking...either overpay for the valet or be prepared to walk from the deck.
Wow. We did a tasting menu and wine pairing. It was outstanding. It was such a lovely experience. Sommelier was smart and friendly. The food was delicious. We can't wait to go back!
A lovely setting for our meal. The lamb entree was perfectly cooked and delicious. The accompanying compote didn't add to it. The lobster tail appetizer was slightly overcooked and the peach vinaigrette didn't enhance the taste. The dessert was only fair. Still a very enjoyable meal.
Used to be a special occasion place. Not anymore- shorts and sneakers. Chose it for my birthday- husband indicated it on the reservation. Not a mention. The rooms are tired looking and noisy. Food is good as is service. Spent over $300 for shared appetizer, 2 mains and a dessert. Plus bottle of wine. Should have worn shorts.....
The Frog and the Peach is a wonderful dining experience. The food and the service are always impeccable. This has been one of our favorite restaurants over the years for celebrating special occasions.
