We visited this wonderful restaurant yesterday, on an invitation by Mr. Aamir, who turned out to be a great host. The restaurant is located on the New Rohtak Road Karol Bagh, on the first floor, but you can 't miss it with its bright name board visible from quite a distance. For drinks we ordered, Chhachh, Aam Panna, and Jal Jeera. Chhachha was just amazing, it just tasted so fresh and the Aam Panna was great too, with its sweet tangy taste. I found Jal Jeera to be a bit too spicy for my personal liking and could have been a bit tangier. In Starters, we got this Veg Maharaja Platter that had multiple options, like Paneer fingers, Paneer Tikka, Kebabs, soya chaap. If you wish to try out multiple starters, it 's the best thing to order, available in both veg and non veg option. We also ordered Murgh Malai Tikka the chicken pieces were very tender and it had a wonderful smoky, creamy texture. Coming to the main course, we thought of trying something different than the usual Paneer/Dal Makhani. We tried Khumb Hara Pyaaz Bhujia, which something different than the routine, tasty nevertheless. We also tried the Rahra Meat the quantity served in the 'family ' portion is too much, very generous serving. The meat was well cooked and tender and had the right balance of spices. The Chicken Biryani we ordered it was aromatic and scrumptious, prepared with long grained rice and served in nice little pot. These dishes were accompanied with butter rotis. We also ordered Boondi Raita where the Boondi was crunchy instead of being soaked, I personally don 't like the crunch in raita, but again it 's a personal preference. We ended the dinner on a very sweet note, with a delicious serving of 'Ras Malai ' Service I believe could be slightly improved upon. The delay can also be because we ordered the platter where multiple starters need to be prepared. Also, they have quite a rush of 'Take Away ' orders as well, so that might have taken a toll on the kitchen. Also, one point I wish to mention is the cleanliness of the washroom they were spotless and amazingly clean, something I really appreciate. It was definitely a great experience visiting the place, with its subtle ambiance, which is not too loud compared to some of the other 'Pind Balluchi ' restaurants I 've visited. I would definitely recommend giving this one a try, to satiate your cravings for Punjabi food!
A great blend of taste and aroma. Decent place for dining. Great drinks (No alocohol lol) and mouthwatering juicy Chicken. Great place for family and group gatherings. Great place to hang out
Food was good not best i say but staff is friendly good family restaurant nice interior music was ok ok but the service i think is the best what i feel is food should be more spicy but still good for family time visit
It's a decent restaurant with good staff and ambience. Food starters were tasty- checken chilly and chicken tikka, but in main course we order chicken biryani which was tasteless and ruined the entire impression.
