Bonkey's - New Freedom

I like New Freedom and Bonkey's ice cream. The Seven Restaurant next door good too. The Hodel, if you like dive bars 300 yards away. Finally Rail Cafe within same 300 yards. Whole town like 50s TV. Can I retire there? Think Mayberry from Andy Griffith show.

Each year, we participate in a baseball tournament in the area, and every year we make it a point to visit Bonkey's. The kids absolutely love the Cookie Monster dessert, while I always opt for the large ice cream sandwich. Parking is available on the street, and once you arrive, you’re greeted by wonderful people in a friendly community.

The prices are excellent! The two girls who were working there were very friendly and quick! I ordered strawberry cheesecake, and it had real strawberries and chunks of cheesecake in it – it was delicious!

I’m currently feeling quite euphoric after trying the lemongrass basil ice cream from Bonkeys, and it’s absolutely phenomenal. This ice cream has taken me to a state of bliss that I never even knew was possible. I could easily write love songs about it. That’s all I have to say!

Big house town ice stand!! Very expensive, but the portions are large. The Martha My Love Sun is amazing!!!
