Puempel's Olde Tavern - New Glarus

Walked in for lunch and a beer. Pleasantly Surprised to see an oompa band setting up. FUN!

Very entertaining. we had fun and enjoyed the music and the friendly atmosphere.

Yogi was a wonderful waitress. she told us to visit several places in new glarus and green county. the gloomy were fantastic. I loved the cheese curds and the new glarus beer. very clean atmosphere.

This is an interesting bar with beautiful painted murals and a unique history. friendly people. dog-friendly terrace (our waitress even brought a special tasty bite for our pup.) only underpass is a limited menu.

A classic Wisconsin tavern that hasn't changed much over the years. And I hope it stays just the way it is. It's like taking a step back in time. Love Puempel's!
