Ferry Main - New Hope

Overall, it's a very nice restaurant. On this occasion, it disappointed. Despite having a reservation and arriving on time, the restaurant was so overcrowded that we had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. The service was slow in happening, we waited least 45 minutes for the main courses after ordering to arrive AND it was cold except for one dish. At this point, we'd been in the restaurant for two hours and it wasn't worth the effort to send the food back. Some of the guests just decided not to eat their dinner. It took at least another thirty minutes to get the check. At no point do any of us recalling a waiter, manager, receptionist etc commenting or apologizing for the significant wait times. This visit was disappointing.

Food was excellent. Great variety of food and drinks. Indoor and outdoor bar have a great vibe. Restaurant was very noisy however we could still still have a conversation at our table. The lights sporadically dim the entire evening. It's actually distracting and unpleasant. This was not the first time. Lastly, we reserved more than twenty-four hours in advance and still had to wait forty-five minutes for our table. Overall it was an amazing evening with great friends, great food and cocktails.

Beautiful room, buzzing atmosphere, great service. Fireplace, open kitchen. I love coming here and do often. One issue tonight: ordered the filet and was expecting filet mignon. It was apparently ‘bistro' filet, which was hanger steak. Not good, although manager took it right off the bill when we brought up the issue. So they tried hard to make it right.

Loved this place. Decor and attention to detail were gorgeous. Staff from reception, bar and waitress were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Food was fabulous presented beautifully and tasted amazing. We had salads to start and a scallop special. Fresh, delicious ingredients made to sing. So loved it we went back for brunch the next day. Was a quick get out of the city weekend break for us so won't be back soon (sadly) but highly recommend if you are staying or living in town.

We visited New Hope and decided to have lunch here. We were soooooo happy we did. Our server Christine was friendly attentive. The drinks were great the food was fresh and tasty!
