Bidra med feedbackWe were on our way back to New York. We stopped by for dinner to Stella's. The place looked nice from outside in a little town. The location was great with amazing views. Also the food was really good. One of our plates was the steak and it was a little undercooked. They replaced it with another one no questions asked. Plus they comped us desserts as well at the end. Service is A+. We will definitely be back when revisit the Town
We came here for my anniversary dinner and had an overall nice experience. The staff were very kind and courteous about letting us change our outside seating to have a better view of the river. The view is 5/5 stars for sure. Located right on the Delaware river. A perfect spot for a romantic date or anniversary dinner. The drinks were just okay. Not a lot of flavor and pretty watered down (even before the ice melted). I got the Spritz which didn?t really have a lot of depth or complexity to it. The food was beautiful and tasty but the portions for some of the main dishes were quite small. We started with a first course of shrimp and grits. It was tasty and beautiful. An appropriate size for a first course. The salmon main was very good and a hearty portion. It could have used a lot more spice and flavor though, especially when ticketed as a spicy dish. The chicken was a disappointment especially after being so highly recommend by the waitress. It was just a single chicken leg and really nothing special. Pretty measly for an expensive dish. But the staff was great, the food decent, and the view incredible.
Bar service was quick and efficient as we waited for our table. Seating outside on the rail facing the Delaware River could not have been any nicer of a dinner setting. Our waitress, Erin, was spot on in terms of being there when needed, not being there when not. Food was very good Strawberry Beat Salad and the Gnocchi appetizers were both great and the Scallops (not pictured) and Salmon entrees were cooked to perfection and very tasty. An optional bread board had three types of breads and three toppings to try with the breads, also well worth the carbs and calories.
Upscale and swanky, this meal was one I won't forget in a while. Not only was the food unique and delicious enough to make any foodie happy, the ambiance was stunning. We sat outside on the porch overlooking the Delaware River right at the railing. Honestly that's the best place for couples to sit anyway next to each other as opposed to across! We had the beef tartar as an appetizer, I had the jail Island salmon, and my dinner companion had the chicken with truffle stuffing. Every dish was the perfect balance of flavors, and if I wasn't so full from the coconut curried black rice, I would have tried dessert! The service was also excellent. Our server was named Lindsay and she was friendly and helpful, and gave us just the right amount of attention. I did think the cocktails were a little expensive they were city prices but I guess being right next to the playhouse and along the water lets them set the price point that high
Miguel was an amazing waiter. He knew the different dishes very well and was so attentive! The food was amazing. I definitely come back.
