Anointed Soul Food - New Iberia

The sausage and pork chops are the best I've ever had! I live in the Houston area, and this soul food is truly outstanding. The service was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning to explore more of the best restaurants off the main roads.

I am always pleased with my experience at this restaurant! I enjoyed some BBQ, a delicious sausage link, dirty rice, cheesy spaghetti, and candied yams. They also offered pork chops, fried ripe plantains, and more. We finished off with a slice of red velvet cake and a chocolate cake. The portions are generous, so I was able to bring home some leftovers for later!

The food here is so delicious that I was left speechless. We both enjoyed two types of meat that were phenomenal, along with rice, dressing, spaghetti, baked beans, candied yams, pineapple cake, strawberry cake, and sweet potato cake. The skill behind these dishes is truly remarkable. The portions are very generous, allowing us to have two meals from our order.

Eating is always homemade with every little love as the food grandmother made earlier. I have never eaten a meal there, I have not loved it! Not to mention that I had the flu and had a week in bed sick and delivered it directly to my door. service and quality cannot be beaten! I wish I could give myself six stars.

The atmosphere and people are amazing,,let's not forget bout the food. Now I eat very lil carbs so i only got a smidgen of rice because that's what I asked for but the other stuff like the porkchop and gravy, I was like pour it on. Delicious! I also had some sort of broccoli souflee, yum! We had pokeno there and they are super amazing. Great place to eat!
