Maverick's (formerly O'maddie's Cafe)

This is an excellent breakfast spot with a friendly staff! They offer fantastic fresh-baked goods, particularly the brownies, coffee cake, and cinnamon rolls. The daily specials are amazing too. We drive 20 minutes each way just to enjoy it—definitely worth the trip!

We visited Mavericks this morning while on our way home from the Berkshires, and we're so glad we did! The owner was incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic about having us there. He allowed us to sample several of his delicious homemade sauces and prepared some fantastic sandwiches, including one that wasn't even on the menu! Everything is fresh, and most of the items are made from scratch. I will definitely make it a point to stop by this place whenever I'm in the area again.

The new ownership offers fantastic food in a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Best of all, they’ve extended their hours to 4 PM. Now, on our journeys between Vermont and New Jersey, we can easily stop in New Lebanon for a late lunch!

Extremely tasty sandwiches, warm yummy soup, and AMAZING baked goods/cakes! Mavericks has it all, including kind and courteous customer service! Put this place and your go to list, you won?t regret it!

Food was great and everyone was beyond friendly on our first visit! Sarah's peanut butter chocolate chip cookies are amazing and everyone needs at least two : Couple of things to keep in mind: 1. It is on the pricier side but when considering inflation and supporting a small local business it is worth it! 2. They run out of bagels, hard rolls, etc. especially on the weekend it seems so get there early or have a back up in mind for what you might want to order!!
