Bidra med feedbackI enjoy coming to this restaurant. It's a relaxing place to have a drink and catch up with friends. The dinner menu is delicious. The owners are respectful and friendly. The live music on Friday evenings creates a great atmosphere, and the people there are nice and friendly.
I will not be returning to this restaurant. The bartender was unfriendly and appeared overwhelmed in a nearly empty bar. It took approximately 10 minutes for our drinks to be served, which were simply beer bottles with no special designs. They seemed to be using a manual ticket system instead of a POS system, leading to long wait times. Additionally, the music was too loud for a Friday evening at 9:30, making it difficult to have a conversation with the person sitting next to you.
Consistently one of the top ethnic restaurants in Connecticut, this spot offers fantastic authentic food from the Dominican Republic. I love getting the seafood mufungo with sweet plantains, as well as the deep fried crispy red snapper. The guava juice is delicious when mixed 50/50 with water, maintaining its flavor. The restaurant has a large menu selection and offers both indoor and outdoor seating with water views to the east.
Some of the best food in the eastern ct you will find here. are generous. highly recommend the pork
Awesome find. They weren't busy at all but wow was the food great. We had arroz con pollo (rice with chicken) with a side of maduros (sweet plantains) and pibil (pork) with yellow rice that came with a delicious soup/sauce. Plates were enormous and we left way too full with to-go boxes in hand. Very happy and will be back. Thank you!
