Irving Big Stop - New Minas

The lemon meringue pie was awesome and the food was a surprise in that it's a truck spot. Wholesome and delicious.

Need a stop to fill with gas and for a bite to eat. The big stop is split between a restsurant, a shop selling most things including coffee and snacks then there is the has station.Used all three and found the restsurant lacking!!Food was ok but sadly nothing much to write home about!There was no hot meals as gluteen free and no deserts either!!Not even French fries as these are fried with other food not in a separate fryer.Preferred to have had something hot other than a salad! The staff were very nice and certainly would go back if they improve the menu. Certainly a very busy place and you can get most things you need from the shop itself from souvenirs to snacks, coffee etc

Stopped in this afternoon for a take out order of Thursday's special "Corned Beef and Cabbage", at supper time opened the container and this is what we had lots of turnip, carrot and potatoes but very little corned beefand "NO" cabbage at all. Called Big Stop and informed them of same, She was quite surprise that there was no cabbage. Last time we were there The turkey dinner came minus the "Dressing", time for a review of what'sgoing on in the kitchen.

Always great food and service at any Big Stop we visited and this one is no exception. Service was friendly and fast even on Mother's Day

Ai the request of friends we did go to this restaurant on a Thursday night for Corned beef and cabbage.Wow what a surprise.It was a delicious meal .We will certainly go there again because not only was the food great ,the service was warm and friendly
