Bidra med feedbackI really enjoyed the vegan coconut ice cream and would love to try it again, but it was the only option available. I am hesitant to return to a restaurant that only offers one choice and I am unsure when they will introduce new flavors. Other places in New Orleans offer up to three non-dairy options, but they are not as tasty. While this place is better than most, it still lacks variety in their dessert offerings.
The coffee at this restaurant is excellent and they offer a few vegetable milk options. They also have a vegan ice cream flavor that is coconut-based cookies and cream. However, make sure to specify that you want the vegan option as it is stored in the back. When I tried it, it tasted like regular ice cream, but after further inquiry, the employee assured me it was milk-free. The next day, I discovered that the milk-free ice cream is stored separately in the back and the employee had not accessed it for my order. I was disappointed by this and only rated them three stars.
I had a great experience at this restaurant. I definitely plan on returning in the future. I am currently seated at the bar and feeling very pleased. The staff is friendly and the food is outstanding. The flavors are unique and delicious.
This restaurant is absolutely insane. They offer coffee, as well as affogato - ice cream topped with a shot of espresso. You can also order a shot of some alcoholic beverage, as it functions as a bar as well. The decor is a vibrant mix of bright colors, and all the staff are dressed in shirts with lips on them. I tried the Big Easy, which was vanilla gelato topped with crushed pistachios, a stroopwafel, and edible glitter. Pour over a shot of espresso...and there you have it, an affogato. Just a heads up though, they play their hip hop music extremely loud.
