Felix's Restaurant Oyster Bar

The half po boy and tiny cup of gumbo was not worth it I would have paid half. But this was so small I had to order another meal. The gumbo was 5 spoon fulls.

Soup tasted like nothing but pepper and the poboy was so salty and dry

The Shrimp and Grits were excellent. The Shrimp Scampi was a very large portion with mostly pasta. The sides were expensive and were extra. The bread pudding was served piping hot and the whiskey sauce was delicious.Service was slow initially for how few tables were in use. The ambiance was ok for a family place but the prices were high for a family place. They can charge the higher prices because the location on the lake made them competitive with the other two major seafood restaurants in the row.They advertised Wagyu beef but they did not have any when we ate there on a Saturday night in February.

Dined in around 7 on a Monday, and was able to be seated right away. We had the absolute best service from Bri who had just finished training. She was very patient, helpful, and an absolute delight. Husband and I ordered a smattering of dishes and all were delicious. Definitely worth a visit.Food: 5/5

So we stopped in here on Sunday to grab some food and a drinkWe walked in and it wasn 't too busy, no one was at the bar so we sat down,The bar was filthy and hadn 't been cleaned for some timeAfter waiting about ten minutes the most miserable young man approached us, I wouldn 't call him a bartender because that would be an insult to actual bartenders, before asking us for drinks, he said food is delayed, it will be 20 minutes And he mumbled it so I had to ask him to repeat it twice.So we ordered two screwdrivers and I asked him for a towel to clean my own space, he threw me down a bar rag instead of taking a second to clean it himself.After he disappeared for another ten minutes, two other couple sat down and he was equally rude to them, so they both left without ordering.So we paid our tab and left.Not sure if anyone for the restaurant will read this, but if you keep this guy as a bartender, you deserve very bad review you get.I will never come back there because of that treatment
