Green Olives Cafe - New Orleans

Amazing! My friend and I visited after work and had a truly wonderful experience! The coffee was delightful, the tea was flavorful, and the shawarma was seasoned to perfection! Everything was simply delicious, and we both can’t wait to go back soon!

A few weeks ago, we were craving Mediterranean, but Green Olives website wasn't working. We ordered from a well-known nearby competitor and regretted it immediately. Tonight, we remembered why Green Olives is the true great Mediterranean restaurant in the city. So good! Falafel weren't dry, gyro was flavorful, the hummus thick (the other place had watery hummus), and not stale pita. Don't go anywhere but here. Best in the city!

I’m visiting from Oklahoma City and have enjoyed Mediterranean cuisine all my life, but nothing compares to this. You can truly taste the love and care the chef puts into the food. No shortcuts are taken, and it shows. This is, without a doubt, the best Mediterranean meal I’ve ever experienced!

I had dinner here last night, and it was quite disappointing. The tzatziki was bland and lacked flavor, and the hummus was no better—also tasteless and had some chunky bits mixed in. The chicken didn’t meet my expectations either; it seemed like it was just cut-up strips that were quickly seared in a pan, rather than prepared in the traditional doner style. Moreover, the Greek salad was not authentic at all; it appeared to have an Italian dressing on it instead. The rice in the dish was also poorly cooked and lacked seasoning. Overall, I was very unhappy with my meal.

So delicious and fresh! Food was ready quickly and everting was so flavorful! Can?t wait to go back to dine in for the full experience.
