The Jimani Lounge - New Orleans

Disappointing NOLA dive bar. Great tasting burger. But I ended up paying $12 for a seven dollar burger just because I got it dressed and with a slice of cheese even though I ordered the cheeseburger that was already increased in price. They even charged me extra for a to go order!?? There are a ton of other great burger places and plenty of great dive bars. Go someplace else.

This is a fantastic and timeless eatery that offers delivery for those who work late nights. It was my favorite place during my overnight shifts in the hospitality industry. I always order the Hang Ova Burger, and this visit was no exception. Jason is still on staff, and he's incredible! He has the patience of a saint and a wonderfully positive attitude.

Charming bar located just off the main street. They serve excellent cocktails and have incredibly friendly staff. The food was fantastic! We ordered the chicken club and the crawfish balls, both of which we loved. We'll definitely return! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that the service took a bit longer than expected. Overall, we enjoyed the pricing and the service, and we will be back again.

We were also required to purchase a drink since we had brought our own. I ordered a Malibu and pineapple, but it seemed like the bartender either thought I wouldn’t notice or something, because there was definitely no Malibu or any alcohol in it at all. Additionally, I wasn’t comfortable with her holding my credit card behind the counter; I noticed she didn’t do that for any other customers. We visited around 7 or 8 PM, and the place wasn’t busy at all. Overall, it was a mediocre experience—though I'd rate it lower if the crab po'boy wasn’t so amazing. The bartender was sweet and seemed genuine, but I felt like we were being judged because of the stereotype of a "drunk blonde girl" with highlights and a nice smile. On the plus side, the cook did bring our food out quickly. All in all, we spent $36 for both meals and the drink.

Great deals and a fun atmosphere for those in the service industry. Everything is made to order and available until 4 PM daily. A wonderful spot to enjoy!
