Marbles Buffet - New Plymouth

The food was delightful and offered a wonderful variety. At $45, the buffet dinner is quite reasonably priced. It starts at 6 PM, and it quickly filled up even on a Monday night, which speaks volumes about how popular this restaurant is. I particularly enjoyed the seafood and mussels. While I wasn't fond of the ice cream, the abundance and variety of the other dishes more than made up for it. The place was clean and well-presented, and the staff were excellent.

We had an excellent family dining experience here. There was an abundance of food, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious dishes to choose from, making it challenging to sample everything available. The staff, although quite young, were impressive and attentive. Despite the large number of children present, I was pleasantly surprised not to hear any screaming or crying. Considering how much our family enjoyed, the price was reasonable. Although I felt a bit cramped at our table, I would definitely return for another meal.

It is what it is—a family buffet! We hadn't visited in years, but we recently attended two large family gatherings there in less than a month. The best advice I can offer is to go on nights when it's busy, as the food tends to be replenished frequently. While it's not a notable seafood buffet, the oysters and prawns are usually quite good, and the smoked fish is often worth trying. They offer a variety of Asian and European dishes. There's a massive selection of mass-produced desserts, which aren't really my cup of tea, but the kids absolutely love them. Seating can be quite cramped, and depending on the level of parental supervision, you might find children running around. If you're looking for a place to gather everyone together, Marbles is a decent choice.

Took our girls for their 5th birthday. We had one of the supermarket 20% off vouchers so couldn't complain about the<br/ value. We all had an enjoyable night and the food is pretty<br/ good for a buffet. The desserts are slightly disappointing, especially the soft-serve ice cream.<br/ <br/ Only complaint is the drinks are quite expensive (standard restaurant prices) but I guess they have to make their money somewhere. Keen on returning sometime as it is a great place for kids and the staff are friendly.

A huge range of food. Great for a family with kids for a special treat
