Ant's Kitchen Cafe - New Port Richey

This is my first restaurant in this area and they didn't disappoint me. Great service, great people and great selection of dishes. They want the portions of their food. I went for lunch and didn't have to cook or buy dinner. If you happen to be there on a Friday, ask for Empanadas Friday

First time trying Ant's Kitchen Cafe and won't be the last. The owner, Antonio, greeted me as I entered. He was happy to explain the menu and help me decide on my meal. I got the Pollo Ropa Vieja with congri, black beans and plantains. Authentic is the best word I can use to describe this meal. Sorry the picture is only a portion as I started eating beforehand.

This place is AMAZING. Hands down best Cuban sandwich around. Pulled pork is incredible. Empanadas are MMMMM. Antonio is charismatic and welcoming and you can feel the love in his food. This is not just a must try but a must visit every chance you get!

I have been wanting to come here and today I did with my Husband. And We love it. For my lunch: roasted chicken, rice with capers, sweet plantains, black beans. My husband's lunch : picadillo, white rice, black beans. We take home spicy empanadas and chocolate cookies. And the dessert we have passion fruits rice pudding. And the excellent service. Thank you to make my day ?

I did a service call at this place and literally has one of the cleanest kitchens I have worked in. Not to mention the Food was GREAT!!! They do breakfast buffet and AMAZING fresh Cubans. Ants Kitchen Cafe, top notch in my book.
