Johnny Grits - New Port Richey

Hands down my favorite place in town! You can sometimes be a little slow, but the food is worth waiting. Your Jalapeno, Cheddar, Speck, Mac n Cheese is from this world! Burgers are great! Breakfast is phenomenal! You have a bar, so if your fan of Mimosas with your breakfast, this is your place!

I want to love and support them but I just can?t anymore. It?s such a cute restaurant with a great outdoor patio. When they first opened they were pretty spectacular, but in the last few months the quality and service have really gone downhill. I?m now waiting 30+ minutes for simple dishes that are not executed well? No thanks. I go to Christina?s or Caposey?s now, both of which are excellent.

The food was mediocre, but what really stood out was the slow and indifferent service. The staff seemed to care little about the customers. I dined there twice, as I'm always on the lookout for a nice spot to enjoy dinner with friends. Unfortunately, I feel I deserve much better. I won't be returning to this restaurant, and I’ll be sure to tell others to stay away as well.

Fantastic restaurant! The food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly. The prices are definitely reasonable for the generous portions. Plus, you can bring your dog or pet if you sit outside on the covered back terrace, which has fans for extra comfort.

Occasionally, it’s nice to venture out solo and discover a gem of a restaurant. I stumbled upon Johnny Grits, a cozy spot with generous portions and outstanding food. If you’re in downtown New Port Richey, I highly recommend stopping by, especially after a stroll to Sims Park. The live music this morning added a wonderful touch to the experience.
